Biography

Pius Shamberger was the grandfather of legendary Major League Baseball Player Babe Ruth. Schamberger was a German immigrant and upholsterer. According to 714 Club, he rented a house located only a block from where Oriole Park at Camden Yards now stands.

Pius Schamberger is buried at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Baltimore, Baltimore City, Maryland, USA, Plot: Section G-2, Lot 126.^[1]
