George Shank was born on April 20, 1815. George Shank and Elizabeth Murray applied for a marriage license on August 18, 1849,[1] and they were married by C. Arnold, Minister of Gospel, on September 25, 1849 in Montgomery County, Ohio.[2] He died on January 1, 1871 and was buried at Landis Cemetery in Brookville, Ohio.[3]
