On April 26, 1932, John Shannon, a farmer who resided in Rathnagushoge Townland, married Annie Neill, living in Kilmacart Townland in Carlow, Ireland. The marriage was solemnized at the Roman Catholic Church of Hacketstown with the Rites and Ceremonies performed by James Dunne, P.P. it was the first marriage for both of them. James Shannon, Jame's father was his witness. While Sarah B. Keating was the other witness.[1]
Annie died on August 25, 1963 in Carlow, Ireland.
