Biography

When Henry Howe R. Sharkey was born on September 9, 1916, in New Jersey, his father, Samuel, was 25 and his mother, Ernestine, was 26.^[1] He married twice, first to Billy Ruth Ryder of Alexandria, LA in 1941 and second to Ruby Blacker (1910-2002). He died on October 14, 1980,^[2]a in Houston, Texas,^[3] at the age of 64.^[4]
