The only connection on Stephen Hunt is that he posted bond to free Dr. Thomas Hunt from Prison after the War was over - people have assumed he is one of Dr.Thoma's children You are very correct on that mark.

I have posted a couple of further notes on the two Mary profiles - one was loaded as Mary Hunt Walton from a GEDCOM in 2011 the other was loaded as Mary Hunt only and connected to Dr.Thomas Of Bedford, then changed to Thomas Elwood Hunt (NY family).

Is there any documentation on the different births? other than the 1761 in the Jackson Family Bible? If we could define the birth date with a source we would be stepping closer to discerning that there are indeed two different Mary Hunt's in Bedford County Virginia.
