Biography

Mary Ann Sharp 1825 Tottenham, married Samuel Billing at Edmonton in 1850. In 1851 Samuel Billing 28 from Northampton was a labourer at the tile kilns in Tottenham, living at the Tile Kilns in Green Lanes with Mary A 29 and Mary A under1 month both born at Tottenham, next door to James B Colley. In 1861 Samuel 38 was a carman at the Green Lanes Tile Kilns with Mary A 39, Sarah A 10, Charles 8 and Samuel J 6. In 1871 Samuel 48 was a carman from Nylverton, Nothants, living at The Potteries reen Lane with Mary 49, Charles 18, and Samuel 16. Next door to her siblings Elizabeth Petts and family on one side and James T Sharp and family on the other side. In 1881 Samuel 58 was a general labourer living at Green Lanes with Mary 58, and granddaughter Mable A Mills 3 born at Islington. In 1891 Samuel 68 was a general labourer living in Harefield road, Tottenham, with Mary 69, Samuel J 36 and Susan 34, and granddaughter Mable A Mills 13. Mary died later in 1891. In 1901 Samuel Billing 77 labourer lived in St Anne road Tottenham with son Samuel 46 and his wife Susan 44 from Huntingdon. Samuel died in Edmonton district in 1905 aged 82. Issue Sarah Ann 1852 married Frederick William Mills in 1877, Charles John 1853 -1895 married Alice Long, and Samuel James 1855 married Susan Gilson.
