Rebecca was born about 1701. Rebecca passed away about 1745 in Varina Parish, Henrico, Virginia, Colonial America.

Sister of Richard Sharpe, she and her son, Robert Frogmorton, are named in his will 11 April 1726, proved 6 June 1726 (Henrico County).

Elizabeth Throgmorton's father was Robert Sharp (d. 1920, Henrico Co.) Robert Sharp had two wives -- Katherine (maiden name unknown) and 2nd, Mary (maiden name unknown), who survived him. There is no good evidence that pinpoints the date of Elizabeth's birth, the date Katherine died (after Apr 1695), or the date Robert married Mary (by March 1697/8).

Following the Throgmorton/Throckmorton family and its interrelationships with the Sharp family over four generations requires care, as much confusion has arisen over the years.
