Biography

Daniel was born about 1821 in Charlton.[1][2][3][4] He was the son of Henry Sharp and Sarah Franklin. He married Elizabeth Claridge in 1845.[5][6] He married Mary Ann Simmonds in 1857.[7]He passed away in 1907.[8][9]

He was the first shoe manufacturer in Rushden, claimed to be the first man to make a rivetted boot and introduced crows to Rushden Hall.[10][11]
