Biography

Eliphalet Franklin Sharpe was born on 17 November 1823, the son of John Sharpe and Rebecca Lassiter.

He served in the 61st Regiment of the Georgia Infantry, Company BK, in 1861 for the Confederate side in the Civil War. His first rank was First Sargent and at the end of his service his rank was Captain.

Eliphalet died on 27 February 1900 in Kissimmee, Osceola, Florida and was buried in Parton Settlement Cemetery
