Panthea was born on 27 August 1789 in Statesville, Iredell, North Carolina, USA. She was the daughter of James Sharpe and Jane (Andrews) Sharpe.^[1]

When Panthea was 22 she married George Washington Allison on 7 January 1812 in Statesville, Iredell, North Carolina, USA. The couple had one child: Anna Allison.^[1]

In the 1850 census Panthea (age about 60) was living in Iredell, North Carolina, USA.^[2][3]

In the 1860 census Panthea (age about 70) was living in Union, Monroe, Iowa, USA.^[4][5]
