No evidence found for parents at the moment. Keighley parish registers do not begin until 1562 so there can be no baptism record. Henry Sharpe died in 1585 leaving a will which may provide evidence of children: "Sharpe, Henry, Harrodeshill, par. Kyghley, clothier, July 27, 1585".[8]
Online trees show a marriage 8 May 1569 at Halifax to Elizabeth Greenhaugh.[9] This is unlikely as he would be only 13 at the time and there is no evidence to show that Richard Sharpe of Halifax and Richard Sharpe of Keighley are the same person; Sharpe was a fairly common surname.
The son Henry attached here was born in 1588 Kent and died there in 1650, but the baptism source given here is for a child born and died in Keighley aged 2.
