Birth:
Harold Sharpe was born on July 30th, 1896, in 2 Simon Terrace, Campbell Street, Hull. His parents are George Sharpe (a Merchant Seaman) and Eleanor Easton Moor. [1]
1901 Census:
In the 1901 census Harold (age 4) was the son of Eleanor E Sharpe at 2, Campbell Street, Simons Terrace, Holy Trinity and St Mary, Hull, Yorkshire & Yorkshire (East Riding), England.[2]

1911 Census:
In the 1911 census Harold (age 14), School, was the son of George William Sharpe at 14 Wilberforce Terrace, Argyle ST, Holy Trinity and St Mary, Yorkshire & Yorkshire (East Riding), England. Harold's mother reports that her 21 year marriage to George William Sharpe has produced 6 children, and 4 are alive.[4]
1926 Marriage:
On June 17, 1926, Harold Sharpe married Bertha Lilian Jacobs in Hull Yorkshire. On the marriage certificate, Harold reports that is a 29 year old Bachelor, and Railway Clerk, living at 58 Tootal Drive, Salford, Weaste, Manchester. He states his father is George William Sharpe, a Mariner. 27 year old Bertha states she lives at 542 Eccles New Road, Manchester, and her father is George Jacobs, a Removal Contractor. The marriage certificate is witnessed by Walter Percy Berchall, and Alice Jacobs.[5]
Death:
Harold's death (age 67) was registered in the Jan-Feb-Mar quarter of 1964 in the Exeter district.[6]
