Biography

George Sharratt was born in 1883. He fought in the Boer War in the 30th Battalion of the Imperial Yeomanry and is listed in records from 1902. He married Mary Ann Riley in 1911 and they emigrated to Canada in 1912 on the ship Lake Manitoba, his occupation was listed as Police Constable, and his race listed as English. He passed away in 1959.[1]
