Biography

Jacob Shaub (Schaub) was born October 3, 1844 in Switzerland.^[1]

On January 7, 1868, Jacob married Elizabeth Ida Laughlin in Columbiana County, Ohio.^[2][3] Their children are

On June 9, 1880 he was a railroad engineer living with his wife and five children in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio.^[4]

Jacob died Aug 1882 in a railroad accident.^[5] He is buried in Bethesda Cemetery, Columbiana, Ohio, United States.^[1][6]
