Robert was born in 1879, the son of John Shaw and Mary Zahnleiter. [1]
Research Note
I have cursed my great great great uncle John for naming his son after his beloved brother...
This profile of this Robert Shaw has been confused with his Uncle also called Robert William Hunter Shaw. born in 1866 in Ballarat. The confusion occurred with the import of the "Ancestry tree " whole sale into the Wiki tree.
It is likely that this William married an Emily Cook where his uncle married a Jane cook. however more research needs to be carried out.
I have deleted several references that are applicable to the other Robert William Shaw.
