Biography

Peleg was born on 12 May 1787 in Little Compton, Newport, Rhode Island.^[1] He was the son of Peter Shaw, Jr. and Lydia (Briggs) Shaw.^[1]

He died on 28 Dec 1863 in Genoa, Cayuga, New York. He was buried in West Genoa Cemetery.^[2]
