Mason Shaw of Raynham was an Adjutant in Col. Timothy Walker's regiment who marched on the alarm of April 19, 1775, and served until April 24, 1775, engaged in Walker's Massachusetts Provincial regiment later in 1775, and in Col. George Williams's 3d Bristol County regiment in 1776, marching to Warren, via Rehoboth, Dec. 8, 1776, and in Lt. Col. James Williams's 3d Bristol County regiment in 1780 marching to Tiverton, R.I., on an alarm.
