DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Israel by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Israel:

Shaw-3446 and Shaw-148 appear to represent the same person because: Same name, date offset by exactly one year, same wife, same child

Shaw-4171 and Shaw-148 appear to represent the same person because: Clearly same man (same birth, same parents-- who also need merging), but we need to reconcile the two different death dates.
