Research Notes

John Shaw and Editha Cunningham were set as parents of Edmund Shaw immigrant to Long Island. There is as yet no evidence he was their son, though research on John and Editha is necessary to determinen anything about them. It's possible there's a will that could prove or disprove the connection. For now, he has been disconnected as their son.

Is there a source for the death date and place? Unless he is the John Sha'w that arrived in Plymouth in 1627, Anderson doesn't have him shown in his Great Migration Directory

Source for this wife?? The double given name is unusual. And freereg.uk shows a John Shaw m. Mary Wood in 1598 at Darley, just 3 mi. north of Matlock (and 10 mi. w. of Chesterfield; see comment below).

Freereg.uk shows two John Shawes bp. at St.Mary and All Saints (now Chesterfield Parish Church) in Chesterfield, 10 mi. NE of Matlock, in 1665 and 1670 respectively. The first is shown as a bastard; the second is shown as a son of Thomas. The latter seems a more likely parent than the unsourced Antonii unless there is very strong evidence otherwise.
