Biography

Robert Shaw-Stewart is a member of Clan Stewart.

Robert Farquhar Shaw-Stewart was born on 3 March 1836. He was the son of Sir Michael Shaw-Stewart (6th Baronet of Greenhock and Blackhall) and his wife Eliza Mary Farquhar. He gained the rank of officer in the service of the Scots Fusiliers Guards.

He died on 29 October 1911 at age 75.

Marriage

On 10 February 1859 Robert married Isabella Jane Warner the daughter of Charles William Warner and his wife Isabella Ann Carmichael.
