Mary Elizabeth Shea was born on 6 Sep. 1876. She was the daughter of William Shea and Catherine McDonald. She was baptized on 28 Sep. 1876 at St. Simon and St. Jude Roman Catholic Church in Tignish, Prince Edward Island. [1]
In 1920, Mary (age 43) was living in Oxford, Maine with her husband Peter Doherty, their children Grace, William, M. Elizabeth, Frank, and Annie O.). Also in the household were Mary's children, J. George and Mary C. Kenney. Mary immigrated in 1916. [2]
In 1950, Mary (age 73) was living in Rumford, Oxford, Maine with her son William F. Doherty. She was listed as married. Her birthplace was Canada Other. [3]
