Biography
William Shearer was born in Scotland.
William was born about the 9 May 1848 in East Kilbride, Scotland. He married Agnes Armstrong (Johnston) Shearer on the 10 June 1873 at Crown Hotel, Dumfries, Scotland.[1] They had about nine children.
Death
He passed away on the 1 December 1929 at Karori, Wellington, New Zealand Age 81.[2] and was buried at the Karori Cemetery in Wellington, New Zealand.
