Pleasant Willis Shearer "Willis," son of Sylvester M. and Lucinda (Wilkerson) Shearer, was born in 1842 in Rockcastle County, Kentucky. He was the brother of John, Mary, Cassander, Thomas, William, Nancy, (and more). Willis was a farmer in Rockcastle and Madison Counties in Kentucky. He was the husband of Margaret Kimbrell and father of Sallie, Samuel, Garfield, Della, Fred, Ollie (and more).
