Robert (age 21) married Sarah Kindal (age 19) on 10 November 1789 in Wilkes County, North Carolina, United States.^{[1][2][3][4][5]}

There are not yet any sources for his date of birth and death as shown above. However, I have located his last will and testament and attached it hereto. For bevity I have extracted key portions of that will which shows they had seven daughters and one son. The son apparently did not receive an inheritance; or received his long before his father's death. The list of children is as follows:^[6]

Second: “…Wife, Sarah … as much of my household and plantation as she may cause to keep, also my house and plantation of 141 acres…”
Thirdly: To my seven daughters: “…Three hundred dollars each, the amount of all the receipts I hold for monies I hold for them to be deducted from their … Portions …”
