Herman was born in 1919. He is the son of Gilliam Shearin and Eddie Spence. [1]

Herman Lived in warren co. nc. in 1940.[3]
Herman R. Shearin Age 40 was a deck hand for Southern Materials co. Henrico co. va. he was killed on the job June 25, 1958.[4]
Hermans death certificate states he fell from tugboat. Death was from suffocation,from drowning[5]
