Biography

William is the son of Joseph and Amy Shearin. Born in 1760. He is mentioned in his Grandfather's John Shearin's will as being the son of Joseph. His Grandfather's will was in probate Nov.& Dec. 1795,Warren,North Carolina.[1]

William owned 19 slaves in the 1790 Warren , North Carolina census.[2]
