Mary Sheehan was born about 1852.

Southport cemetery records where she was buried in Queensland, Australia, suggest she was 38 or 39 years of age in 1892; born in 1853 in Scarriff, County Clare, Ireland. Parent's names are Thomas Sheehan and Mary Hinchy.

Baptism located 1852, seems to be correct; for her parents names thereon; compare with the death record.

Church records on 'WWW.Rootsireland.ie' show a Mary Sheehan baptised as RC on the 03-Jun-1852 in County Clare, with father given as Thomas Sheehan and mother as Mary Henchy or Hinchy.

There is a shipping record for one named Mary Sheehan, age 18 years^[1] who arrived at Rockhampton on the ship "Royal Dane". This has not been confirmed as the arrival of this Mary, wife of Caspar.

She married at Warwick Queensland, Australia. in the Roman Catholic Church Presbytery on 5 October 1893^[2] to Caspar Iselin.

Her death occurred at Currigee, Southport on 18 September 1892^[3]. Note Currigee is also spelt as Curragge.

The Circumstances; occurred in one of the oyster camps in Moreton Bay; after they had finished breakfast, Mrs Iselin just fell down and expired. A Post Mortem requested by her husband was held; the cause of death determined to be heart disease.
