He had four siblings, namely: Lydia, Rachel, Sarah, and Elizabeth. He died on 19 Aug 1806 in Providence, Providence, Rhode Island. When he was 22, he married Abigail Fenner, daughter of Richard Fenner Jr and Elizabeth Arnold, on 27 Apr 1765 in Scituate, Providence, Rhode Island.
