Biography

Egbert Sheldon, the son of Abijah Sheldon and Rachel Harris, was born about 1825.

He married Cornelia Cahoon.

In 1860, Egbert and his wife Cornelia lived in Ridgeville, Lorain, Ohio, with Samuel Cahoon and his wife Lucinda. Egbert and Samuel were farmers.^[1]

Egbert Sheldon, aged 46 years, died on 1 Dec 1868.^[2] He is buried at the Ridgeville Cemetery, North Ridgeville, Lorain, Ohio, under the same stone as his wife Cornelia, who died on 15 Oct 1878.^[2] He left all of his possessions, after the death of his wife, to Harris's lawful heirs.^[3]
