Biography
Bernard was a machinist, and eventually ran his own shop.
His first wife and mother of his children was committed to a mental institution about 1923. For a while his children were sent to his sister Ethel who was living in Florida.
By 1940, he had married his second wife Mary Ann. they had no children together.
