Biography

Mary Britten Shelley was the daughter of Charles Raymond Shelley and his wife Helen. She was born in New Jersey on 5 May 1906.

On 25 September 1930 she married businessman Frank Dan Waterman, one of the heirs to the Waterman legacy (Fountain pen business empire). They were married at Asbury Park in New Jersey.

Mary outlived her husband and died in Connecticut on 20 November 1989.
