Biography
Edward Shelley willed Field Place, near Warnham in Sussex, to John, the elder brother of Sir Bysshe Shelley. However, John, remained childless, although he had married Mary White on 22 December 1752, and the property passed to Sir Bysshe Shelley when John died in 1790. Sir Bysshe Shelley outlived his brother by 25 years.
