Biography
Jackson was born in Alabama [1-6] in 1862 to Elijah and Elizabeth (Brackin) Shelley [2]. It appears he was married twice. The first time was to Mary Askew. They were the parents of 2 children [3]. Jackson married a second time to the widow Delaney (Kirkland) Brackin around 1909. Jackson worked as a farmer [3-6]. He died in 1934 and was buried in Tolbert Baptist Cemetery in Henry County, Alabama.
