N2317Notes: From E. Herman Shelly. Year 1785. By deed of June 15, 1885, acquired the lands of Samuel Love. These lands were sold April 3, 1804 to John Jacoby of Manchester Twp., York Co., Pa. ( Deed Book 2-R, Page 123 ). Year 1785. By another deed of the same date, June 15, 1785, Jacob together with his Wife Margaret sold to Jacob Meyers another plot in Newberry Twp., York Co., Pa., adjoining the land purchased from Jacob Barr ( Bear/Bare ) October 12, 1792. From this it would appear the sponsors of ( Jacob's son ) Daniel were neighbors ( Deed Book 2-R, Page 125 ). Year 1792.
