Elizabeth Shelley was born about 1822, based on her age in census records and her birth order within her family. She was the daughter of Nathan Shelley and Mary Meadors, and is named in her father's will in 1845.[1] Her parents were living in Whitley County, Kentucky at the time of her birth.[2][3]
Elizabeth married Andrew Jackson Patrick on 2 April 1840 in Whitley County.[4] She and her husband continued to live in Whitley County.[5][6][7]
Elizabeth died in Whitley County on 23 Janurayr 1902, and is buried in the Jellico Creek Cemetery.
