Nancy Jane Shelton was born on November 21, 1843, in Alabama. She married widower William C Manning on June 20, 1867, in Jackson, Alabama;[1] their known children are:

  • Ruth A (Nov 1886)

William died between 1900 and 1910 and she died on November 24, 1933, in Scottsboro, Alabama,[2][3] at the age of 90, and was buried there.[4]
