Biography

John Shelton was born on July 18, 1729 in Stratford, Fairfield, Connecticut. He is a son of Daniel and Mary Shelton.^[1]

He passed away in 1786.

His inventory was completed on 30 October 1786 in Stratford.^[2]

In 1789, his distribution was set out to the widow, Mary, the heirs of Gideon Shelton, decd. (eldest son), Jeremiah Shelton, and Mary Beach, wife of Hezekiah Beach.^[3]
