Birth
- Ann or Anne SHEPHERD was born in about 1822. She was baptised in Alne, Yorkshire, England, United Kingdom on the 27 February 1822. Her parents were William SHEPHERD and Ann. [1]
Marriage
- On the 19 November 1846, Anne SHEPHERD married Richard HILL in Alne, Yorkshire, England. He was a revenue officer and his father, also Richard HILL, was a collector of excise. Anne was the daughter of William SHEPHERD, a farmer. Richard was 27 and she was 21. [2]
