Sarah (Shepherd) Genet migrated from England to New Zealand.
Biography
Sarah's christening was held on 7 March 1817 in Lymington, Hampshire. Her parents were Benjamin and Mary Ann Shephard. Her father was a plumber and they were living in Lymington a port on the Solent (from which a ferry leaves for the Isle of Wight).
She was Sarah Ann Purse when she married Edward as she was the widow of a tea dealer.
She and Edward were married at Boldre church, Lymington in 1838. [1]
