Biography

Delphia (Shepherd) Judd was part of a Southern Pioneer Family.
Delphia (Shepherd) Judd lived in Appalachia, in Kentucky.
Delphia Shepherd was born about 1776[1]

In 1850, the households of Franklin and Polly Judd and Zacariah and Sarah Judd family were shown adjacently to the home of Nathaniel and "Delfa"[1].

Delphia Shepherd Judd passed away after 7 Sep 1850, but possibly still in 1850, since at age 73, "Delfa" is shown living with husband, Nathaniel Judd (72), in Dallas, Dallas County, Missouri on 7 Sep 1850 US Census .[1]

Research Notes

Question: How are Franklin and Zacariah Judd related to Nathaniel?

  1. See 1850 US Census where 3 Judd households sit adjacent to one another
  2. Was Franklin actually the son of Nathaniel Jackson Judd Jr. and Delphia Shepherd i.e. Franklin M Judd (wife Mary Elizabeth "Polly" Clark (1826-1864)? Do they have profiles that can be linked and further clarified in the bio above?
  3. Who is Zacariah Judd? Does he have a profile? Can anyone better identify him and his wife?
