Sarah (Shepherd) Sulman was born in Norfolk, England.

Sarah Shepherd was born about 1822 in Edgefield, Norfolk, England & baptised there 16th November 1822, the daughter of William & Susannah Shepherd.^[1][2]

Sarah Shepherd, of full age, Spinster, Servant, of Plumstead, (daughter of William Shepherd, Labourer) & William Dennis, of full age, Bachelor, Labourer, of Plumstead, (son of James Dennis, Labourer) were married 6th July 1844 in the Parish Church of Plumstead, Norfolk, England according to the Rites and Ceremonies of the Established Church after Banns by Arthur Langton, Rector. William & Sarah both signed. Witnesses were William Shepherd, Phoebe Akers & William Pull.^[3][4]

William Dennis died aged 56, in December 1875 in Overstrand, Norfolk, England and was laid to rest there 23rd December 1875.^[5][6]
