Biography
Hannah Ayres was born in 1875 at Brighthampton (near Standlake) in Oxfordshire, the daughter of James Shepherd and his wife Rebekah, born Rebekah Ayers. [1] [2].
In 1881, Hannah was living at Sutton in Stanton Harcourt in Oxfordshire with her parents James and Rebekah and their other children. Her age was given as 5, implying a birth date in 1875 or 1876. Her birthplace was given as Brighthampton, Oxfordshire. She was at school [2].
