Thomas Shepherd Jr lived in Appalachia, in North Carolina.

Thomas Shepherd was born in 1798 in Cane River, present Yancey County, North Carolina. His parents were Thomas Shepherd and Nancy Stanton. He married Narcissa Welch in December 1824. Together they had 8 children:

Shepherd-1774 and Shepherd-835 are not ready to be merged because: Birth dates are nearly 80 years apart in spite of having same parents - there is something off in the information. Profile managers, please help sort the information out so we can get the correct information! Thanks for your help.
