Biography

Hillia Eulene Sherman was born in 1923, daughter of Clifford Henry and Katherine Gertrude (Peters) Sherman. ^[1] She preferred to use her middle name, and dropped her first name altogether when she was married.

In the 1940 US Census, she appears in her father's household, in Lynch, KY, along with her mother and five siblings. She is described as a 16 year old, single, white, female, who had completed three years of high school.

She passed away in 2014.^[2]
