Born in 1900, Clifford was the son of James Howard Sherman and Hilia Yadon. [1]
In 1940, he was listed as head of household along with his wife and six children. He was described as a 40 year old, white, married male, with eight years of education, who was employed as a tippleman for a coal mine.[2]
He passed away in 1990[3][4], and is buried at D.L. Creech Cemetery, Cumberland, KY.[5]
