Biography
Rebecca Sherman was born in 1820. She married Moses Jackman, a widower. She passed away in 1896.
"A particularly sad affair is reported from Castleton, Vt., where Carlos Sherman, president of the Castleton national bank, dropped dead Thursday, and Mrs. Jackman, a relative of the family, seeing his lifeless body, fell dead at his side. Both were well known and widely esteemed residents." [published Sunday, June 28, 1896 in The Springfield Republican]
