Biography

Clara Sarah Sherman was born on 5 March 1895 in Missouri.^[1] Clara was the daughter of M.A. Sherman.^[2]

In 1900, Clara Sherman lived in Endicott, Whitman, Washington, with her father, Myron A. Sherman and other members of the Sherman family. Myron was a salesman in general mer(chandise).^[3]

Clara Sarah Sherman, 22, and T.H. Dingle, a 23 year old merchant, were married on 20 July 1917 in Endicott, Whitman, Washington. The ceremony was performed by Ulysses F. Hawk, Minister, with witnesses Donald K. David of Moscow, Idaho, and Grover D. Turnbow.^[2]

Clara S. Sherman died on 18 June 1988 in Idaho (perhaps Kootenai County)^[1] According to her FindAGrave memorial, she died in Coeur d'Alene, Kootenai, Idaho, but there is no source for that information. She is buried at the Forest Cemetery, Coeur d'Alene, Plot C-21-10, Kootenai, Idaho, under the same gravestone as husband Hedley Dingle.^[4]
