Birth Certificate of Stonewall Jackson Sherman: "On the 12th of February 1863 Mr. van (of jan) Jacques Steeg a native of Germany residing the the fourth district of Rousseau street declared that on the 25 of July 1862 at one o’clock PM was born in New Orleans a male child named Stonewall Jackson Shermann issue to the legitimate marriage of Jacob Albrecht Shermann, native of Pennsylvania with Margareth Hayes a native of England.[1] He was the son of Jacob Sherman and Margareth Hayes.
He married Mary Johanna Connnell, age 27, on 11 July 1888 at Manhattan, New York City, New York, United States.[2]
He passed away during October 1915 at Croydon, Thornton Heath, Surrey, England.[3]
