Biography

The daughter of Alonzo Sherman and Sarah (Hammond) Sherman, Eliza was born in Fall Creek Township around 1848.^{[citation needed]} She lived there with her family.^[1][2] Nothing is known of her passing or burial.

Research Notes

Both FamilySearch and Ancestry have her linked in marriage to William Thomas Benton Robb (1848-1918). However, that Elisa Sherman is tagged as the daughter of Mason J. Sherman (1819-1857) and Sarah Hitt (1822-1864). I believe the connection is dubious; however, her sister, Mary Sherman, married Howard Robb. Howard Robb, however, is of different parentage (presumed) than Thomas Robb.
