Biography

William Henry was born on April 28, 1898^[1] in Augusta Township, Grenville County, Ontario^[2], the son of Malcolm Sherwood and Mary Jane Young.

In 1901, Malcolm (born February 28, 1870) and Mary (born June 10, 1877) were living in Augusta Township, Grenville County, Ontario^[3], with their children Lulah, Clarence, and William.

In 1911, Malcolm and Mary were living in Augusta Township, Grenville County, Ontario^[4], with their children: Lulu, Clarence, William, Lillie, Florence, Doris, and Dora.

He was married to Maude King before 1921. No marriage record found.

In 1921, William and Maude were living in the Town of Prescott, Grenville County, Ontario^[5]. They had no children.

In 1931, William and Maude were living in the Village of Maitland, Grenville County, Ontario^[6], with their daughter, Cathleen, aged 9, as well as two lodgers, James Jackson, 66, and Robert Dirk, 35.

Maude died in 1970.

He was married to Catherine Hinton in 1974.

William died on May 12, 1986 and was buried at Maynard Cemetery^[7].
